Each 5 day Bowen Module is £450.00. This sum is payable 1 month prior to the start date of each Module. To ensure a place on this course a deposit of £100.00 is required.

Additionally the examination fee is £100 payable on Module 3.

Module1 :  10-14 March 2008

Day 1 Introductions

            History of Bowen as a therapy and its origins.

            What Bowen is: explanation of the basic ‘move’.

            Important points for treating clients; contra-indications; preparing the client for treatment.

          Lower Back Treatment (LBT)

Day 2   Upper Back Treatment (UBT)

            Middle Back Treatment (MBT)

            Neck Treatment (NT)

Day 3   Knee Treatment

            Hamstring Treatment

Day 4   Kidney Treatment

            Coccyx Treatment (incl. Bedwetting, Buttock Pain, Infertility)

Day 5   Shoulder Treatment

            Arm & Elbow Treatment

            Review of Module 1 work.

            Information re starting your Case Histories and continued training in Bowen.

10 Case Histories to be completed for next module.

Module 2 16-20 June 2008

Day 1   Lower Back Treatment (LBT)

            Upper Back Treatment (UBT)

            Middle Back Treatment (MBT)

            Neck Treatment (NT)

            Review of Module 1 procedures and completed Case Histories. 

Day 2   Pelvic Treatment

            Sacrum Treatment

Day 3   Asthma Treatment (incl. Colic in babies & Chest Pain/Scoliosis)

            Breast Treatment

Day 4   TMJ (temporo-mandibular joint) Treatment

           Headache Treatment

Day 5   Ankle Treatment

            Review of Module 2 work and continued training in Bowen

10 Further Case Histories to be completed for next module.

Module 3 8-12 September

Day 1 – 3      Review all work, practical and theory, and Case Histories.

Day 4            1 day presenting mock practical examinations and further revision

Day 5            Practical and theory examinations by external examiner

Following Module 3, ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses are highly recommended, and are a requirement for membership of the UK-based BTER professional body to which you will be eligible to apply on successful completion of the course.
